About this role
Main Duties
Preparing wood or structural finishing by shaping and trimming fixtures with the aid of manual or power tools.
Able to read and interpret construction plans or drawings.
Erect scaffolding or ladders as needed.
Determine the amount and type of wood needed for a job.
Design, build, and install cabinets for homes and offices undergoing remodelling.
Measure, cut, and install various fixtures for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
Trimming of moldings to match irregular surfaces.
Proficient in the use of finish nail guns, hand planes, and chop saws.
Collaborate with other carpenters and supervisors to complete projects.
Implement and adhere to safety and health policies when working on indoor furniture to ensure environmentally friendly and safe structures.

Benefits
Overtime Pay (1.5 times of hourly wage after 40 hours of working in a week and or after 8 hours in a given day).
Vacation pay: as per Saskatchewan Standards (3 weeks or 5.77% of vacation pay
