Key Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support learning and development.

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.

Follow all centre policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety guidelines.

Assist children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, rest time, and transitions.

Observe and document children's progress and communicate with families as required.

Work collaboratively as part of the daycare team.

Qualifications

ECE certification recognized in Saskatchewan (Level I, II, or III).

Current First Aid/CPR certification.

Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.

Core Expectations

Demonstrate professionalism and reliability.

Maintain confidentiality regarding children and families.

Be punctual and prepared for scheduled shifts.

Model respectful and positive behaviour at all times.

Provide attentive supervision and active engagement with children throughout the day.

ECE certificate is an asset but not necessary.

Experience in the field also as asset!
