About this role
Duties Include
- Work on the floor with children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Work directly with children requiring specialized support to enhance their learning and environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate programs, activities, and crafts
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and daily care routines
- Participate in daily cleaning, sanitizing toys, and laundry
- Support children and families during drop-off and pick-up handoffs
- Work collaboratively with other staff members
- Utilize the Lillio app to update parents daily on program, incidents, behaviour, centre updates, and other need-to-know items.
- Represent the daycare professionally with community partners, regulatory agencies, and the public.
- Maintain confidentiality with the community at large.
Wage Scale
No ECE: $18.00-19.00
Level 1: $19.60-21.10
Level 2: $23.00-24.50
Level 3: $27.50-28.93
