Directional Driller

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Horizontal Directional Driller (HDD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on HDD drilling experience and be able to demonstrate their skills, knowledge, and ability to operate efficiently in the field.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of proven HDD drilling experience.
• Experience operating Ditch Witch 30K directional drilling rigs.
• Proficient in the use of DCI locating systems.
• Locate and track drill heads during HDD operations
• Monitor bore depth, pitch and direction to ensure accurate drilling.
• Identify underground utilities, obstacles and potential drilling

hazards

• Operate, inspect and maintain equipment
• Assist with drilling fluids, tooling changes and general crew

duties.

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Able to work safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing

site conditions.

• Demonstrated commitment to productivity, accuracy, and quality

workmanship.

Type of Work

Our projects consist primarily of rural farmyards and municipal installations. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a variety of field conditions and understand the importance of completing work efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
