Demolition Technician

Restorex Disaster Restoration is a COR certified company providing property restoration for residential, commercial and industrial clients. We specialize in emergency restoration services for water, fire, and sewage damage. Our emergency team is on call 24 hours a day.

We are looking for energetic, safety minded individuals who excel in a fast paced environment to join our emergency team. Preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work extended hours and have experience in construction or asbestos abatements. We will train the ideal candidate if necessary.

• A Clean Criminal Record and a valid driver's license are required to be considered for employment*

Job Duties include

• Extract water from flooded properties and install drying equipment
• Tear out damaged drywall, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
• Asbestos abatement and containment setup
• On site cleaning and content packouts
• Be available for evening and weekend on call in addition to regular full-time hours
• Ensure company policies and procedures, including health and safety, are being followed
• Accept direction from Foremen and senior co-workers
• Daily communication with Foremen and Management
• Maintain clean job site and equipment at all times
• Perform general labour on job sites and warehouse as needed

Conditions of Employment

• Valid Driver's License
• Clean Criminal Record and Driver's Abstract
• Grade 12 education, or equivalent
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written
• Must provide use of a personal smartphone device with camera
