About this role
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree.
A Saskatchewan Professional A teaching certificate or Provisional Professional A Teaching Certificate
Must be fluent in Woodland Cree (required).
Cree Language training is an asset
Strong background in the culture and traditions of the Woodland Cree.
Experience with land based education activities
Strong classroom management skills.
Ability to teach students of varying abilities.
Cross Cultural experience is an asset.
Must be able to provide verification of previous teaching experience (if applicable);
Must be able to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract and Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check.
Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
