Community Health Represenative

With direction from Willow Cree Health Services (WCHS), the incumbent will support and adhere to the Mission/Vision of the organization to provide services to the community of Beardys & Okemasis Cree Nation (BOCN).  The Community Health Representative (CHR) participates in Health Centre community health, treatment and surveillance programs and activities. The CHR is responsible for providing and promoting the delivery of a high standard of community health. The incumbent acts independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, to promote, plan, implement and support activities, programs, and client/community care. They are a part of the WCHS Team and are responsible for liaising between clients, families, the community and health care providers to educate, advocate, and support holistic wellness.
