Position Overview

The Commercial Roofer is responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing a variety of flat roofing systems. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.

Install, repair, or replace SBS 2-ply membrane systems and single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials such as modified bitumen, elastomeric membranes, or other asphaltic compositions.

Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces above or below grade.

Perform job setup and tear-down, including installing guardrails, safety anchors, and other fall-protection systems.

Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe roof access.

Participate in safety orientations and training, including relevant sections of the Saskatchewan Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations, as well as company policies and safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area (daily housekeeping).

Qualifications & Requirements

Good physical condition with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Basic knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

Strong listening skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at heights.

Previous commercial roofing experience is Required. Min 2 Years
