Cashier Supervisor

Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of store cashiers, clerks, and gas station attendants.

Assign staff to specific duties, including operating the till, stocking convenience and liquor shelves, and maintaining the fuel pump area.

Authorize returns of merchandise and directly resolve customer complaints or issues regarding fuel, liquor, or store products.

Ensure all staff strictly adhere to provincial regulations regarding the sale of age-restricted products (e.g., checking IDs for liquor and tobacco).

Maintain the specified inventory of convenience items, tobacco, and liquor, and order new merchandise from wholesale suppliers when stock is low.

Prepare daily reports regarding sales volumes, fuel levels, merchandising, and staff performance.

Perform cash handling duties, balance the tills at the end of shifts, and prepare bank deposits.

Assist the store manager in hiring and training new sales staff and cashiers on store policies and the point-of-sale system.
