Speedy Glass is looking for a skilled and dependable Installer/Auto Glass Technician to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, and understands the importance of safety when working on customer vehicles.
This is a hands-on position involving the professional removal and installation of automotive glass, along with providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities
Professionally remove and install automotive windshields and other vehicle glass
Inspect vehicles and glass to identify potential installation concerns
Follow proper procedures for glass preparation and installation
Safely operate shop equipment, tools, and vehicle accessories
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Protect customer vehicles during the installation process
Work effectively with other technicians and shop staff
Stay current with new vehicle technologies, glass systems, and installation procedures
Qualifications
Automotive technician or related experience is an asset but not required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
Comfortable working with a variety of vehicle makes and models
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physically capable of safely handling automotive glass and performing the duties of the position
Willingness to learn and follow established installation and safety procedures
