Accounting Manager

Explore this exciting Accounting Manager opportunity with our Client in Regina as a result of an upcoming retirement.

Reporting to the General Manager and leading a team of 2 Accounting Clerks, you will provide full cycle accounting, financial  analysis and reporting for this reputable product sales and service organization.

Responsibilities include

• Provide full-cycle financial accounting including A/P, A/R, journal entries, bank/credit card reconciliations and reporting.
• Compile financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reports to stakeholders. Provide financial analysis and advice to management.  Assess, track and process product sales and service documents.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank statements, accounts and subledgers.
• Provide leadership and coach the Accounting Clerks, instilling a motivated and positive work team.   Ensure organizational ethics and values are intact and lived within the workplace.

You will bring

• Degree/Diploma in Financial Accounting and/or Business Administration is preferred.  CPA designation or working towards one is an asset.
• Related experience and proficiency in full cycle accounting utilizing accounting software programs.
• Experience in a product sales/service work environment is an asset.
• Motivated professional and positive personality.   Brings a strong financial and business acumen.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Personal integrity, honesty and strong work ethics.  Committed and willing to lead and work within the values and ethics of the organization.
