The Ministry of Highways is seeking a permanent full-time Equipment Operator for the Puskwakau Section near Prince Albert. Candidates must possess a valid Class 1A driver's licence and have knowledge of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and servicing. Experience with graders, tandem trucks, snowplows, loaders, and related equipment is important. Knowledge of workplace safety, traffic control procedures, hazardous materials handling, and basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, fuel, and lubrication systems is required. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities include coordinating and assigning daily crew work, operating and maintaining heavy equipment, monitoring equipment operation and compliance with procedures, performing highway maintenance and snow removal activities, and maintaining records related to equipment usage, repairs, and materials.
