Department of Environment’s Finance branch is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for providing financial and administrative services to the branch as well as overseeing accounts payable for the department.

Essential Qualifications (what we’re looking for in your application):

- Coursework in bookkeeping, accounting, administrative finance, or a related field.
- Experience processing financial transactions or experience with data entry or performing clerical work in an accounting or financial setting.
- Experience providing client support.
- Experience using various computerized financial systems (e.g. Quest, Excel, QuickBooks, Sage) considered an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
