Job Description
Operate and service equipment.
Operation and maintenance of 1 - 2 water plants and wastewater systems.
General maintenance to street signs, mowing, tree pruning, snow removal etc.
Supervise summer students
Other duties as assigned.
Job requirements
Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Requires bending, lifting, kneeling, stretching and reaching without difficulty.
Working with and having knowledge of required chemicals and fuels.
Willing and able to be subject to Call Outs.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Work without direct supervision, within approved policies, procedures, and specifications.
Qualifications
Valid drivers license
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required or willing to obtain - Class 1 Water Treatment and Distribution Certificate
Required or willing to obtain - Class 1 Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Certificate
Under contract training for certification may be provided while on the job for the right candidate.
Salary is commensurate with experience. The Village of Meath Park offers a comprehensive SUMA health plan and MEPP benefits package.
