Facilitator, EAL (Carlyle)

Southeast College is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Conversation Facilitator to support our programming in Weyburn. This role focuses on helping newcomers develop their English conversation, communication, and soft skills in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate conversation and assist learners to gain more confidence in general communications

Build a rapport with students to facilitate a positive experience.

Facilitate discussions with curriculum provided

Maintain a professional image and courteous demeanor with students and staff

Maintain a safe, secure and respected classroom environment

Identify resources and equipment appropriate to support learner development

Assist with room set-up and clean up

Meet reporting requirements as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Minimum one year of experience in facilitation, education, or a related setting.

Clear and current Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector).

Experience in cross-cultural education or working with diverse populations is an asset.

Knowledge of different cultures and/or previous teaching experience is considered an advantage.
