Vice President of Product

Auto Electric Service Ltd. is seeking a Vice President of Product to lead one of the most important functions in our next stage of growth.

This executive role is responsible for Product Assortment, Inventory Strategy, Purchasing, Pricing, Category Management, and Product Technology and Analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead inventory strategy across our Distribution Centre and branches, improving availability while reducing excess inventory.
• Optimize product assortment based on customer and market demand.
• Lead data-driven pricing strategies that support profitable growth.
• Strengthen purchasing, supplier relationships, negotiations and vendor accountability.
• Evaluate and launch new products and categories using clear business cases and ROI.
• Use data and technology to improve forecasting, pricing, inventory positioning and decisions.
• Build and lead the Product function while collaborating across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of leadership experience in product, category management, purchasing, pricing, supply chain or a related field.
• Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills.
• Experience managing significant inventory portfolios and supplier negotiations.
• Experience with ERP, BI, pricing, inventory or analytics platforms.
• Wholesale distribution, automotive, agriculture, industrial, heavy-duty or PBE experience is an asset.
• Relevant bachelors degree; MBA or advanced credentials are an asset.
