Join Our Team as a Therapeutic Vocation Worker!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact as a Therapeutic Vocation Worker? We're seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Casual Therapeutic Vocation Workers where you will provide vocational support to vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues. The Therapeutic Vocation Worker provides supervision, training, support, care, and role-modelling to participants in a vocational environment, guiding vocational routines while implementing behavioral and life skill strategies. The Job Coach assists participants in meeting their individual and vocational goals.

Qualifications

Education and Professional Certification

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• An educational assistant or youth care worker certificate or diploma, or certificate, diploma, or degree in a related field of study is an asset.

Experience

• Up to one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioral, cognitive, mental health, and/or developmental challenges.
• Experience as a job coach, educational assistant, or youth care worker is an asset.
