Swimming Pool Technician

Join our Sports and Recreation team as a Swimming Pool Technician. In this specialized role, you will oversee the mechanical operation of City swimming pools, ensure water quality meets health and industry standards, support preventative maintenance programs, and provide technical guidance and training to staff. You will play a key role in keeping aquatic facilities safe, efficient, and ready to serve the community.

What You Bring

• Grade 12, Swimming Pool Operation and Management Course, and related experience
• Strong knowledge of water chemistry, pool filtration systems, facility operations, and chemical handling practices
• Experience training staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and maintaining operational records
• Strong technical, organizational, communication, and relationship building skills
