About this role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and person-centered Casual Relief Workers to support adults with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities in a residential setting. Casual Relief workers provide coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs.
As a Member of the YAIL Harbor team, you will play a role in empowering individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities to live meaningful lives by promoting dignity, choice, independence and community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, medication support and household duties.

- support individuals in their personal interests, goals and meaningful community involvement.
Qualifications Required
- Post secondary diploma or degree in human service field, or equivalent training and experience.
- knowledge of people with disabilities
- knowledge of community resources
- must have a valid class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License and a reliable vehicle
- First Aid Course or willing to acquire
- knowledge of basic office procedures
- a criminal record and vulnerable sector check or willing to acquire
- must be bondable
Hours of Work
This is a casual, as-needed position. Shifts are scheduled to provide coverage for vacations, leaves, training and other staffing requirements. Our program operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Employees should be available to work a combination of daytime, evening, overnight. Shift lengths may include both 8- hour and 12-hour shifts.
