Supervisor, Environment Officer

This role is responsible to ensure safe drinking water and effective wastewater management across the province. Reporting to the Manager, Compliance Promotion, you'll provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to Environment Officers while working directly with water and wastewater operators, municipalities, and stakeholders to promote regulatory compliance and environmental stewardship.

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll lead compliance inspections, issue permits and approvals, respond to water-related emergencies, investigate regulatory concerns, and help guide critical decisions that protect communities and ecosystems. The successful candidate will have a degree in natural or physical sciences, environmental or civil engineering, integrated environmental sciences, biology, chemistry, or physicsor an equivalent combination of experience and trainingand 8 years of relevant experience.
