Salary and Benefits

$27.80 - $32.52 - According to education and experience.

The successful candidate will

• Provide enhanced First Nations and Metis cultural perspectives,

awareness and guidance to students, families and school staff.

• Enhance linkages to the First Nations and Metis community.
• Provide case coordination for students who are experiencing social,

emotional and/or behavioral problems.

• Work to increase overall First Nation & Metis graduation rates.
• Participate in and/or conduct home visits to better assess student

and family life.

• Consult with the principal of the high school(s) and co-operate with

school staff on a regular basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or another related field

or equivalent would be an asset

• Experience in the delivery of human services such as social work,

health care, justice, counselling or community development

• Valid Driver's License is required
