About this role
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions
- Complete and track FLHA (Field Level Hazard Assessment) audits
- Deliver site-specific orientations for new workers and visitors
- Assist with administrative tasks using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Maintain daily progress logs and safety documentation
- Ensure all workers are properly signed in and out of the site
- Coordinate and document weekly safety meetings
- Attend daily contractor coordination meetings
- Track and monitor PPE requirements for site personnel
- Perform and document fire extinguisher inspections
- Support ongoing safety programs and compliance initiatives as required.
Requirements
- NCSO designation is considered an asset but is not required
- Previous experience in a construction, industrial, or site safety environment is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work overtime
- Physical fitness test and drug and alcohol test will be required
