About this role
The Shipper/Receiver should be able to manage their own time efficiently to maximize productivity. The Shipper/Receiver contributes to the company's overall success by ensuring deadlines are met and production runs smoothly. Some of the most common daily tasks include:
Arrange material needed to complete a job
Keep track of incoming and outgoing products, equipment, or materials
Monitor productions of each job in accordance with the Shop Manager
Consult with Shop Manager and suppliers
Ensure order fulfillment
Address and resolving shipment and inventory issues
Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
Clerical responsibilities for shipping and receiving department
Inventory tracking and asset management
Filling out any paperwork or providing documentation for each shipment
Quality control
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Certificate in Warehouse Management or Parts Management Technician is an asset
3+ years experience in warehouse management, inventory tracking or logistics management
Knowledge of ISO is an asset
