Drift Mechanical is a growing, locally owned sheet metal company serving Saskatoon and surrounding communities, with a focus on residential new construction.
Were looking for a 4th Year Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyperson with residential new construction experience. **This is not an entry-level position.** A valid SATCC Sheet Metal Worker Year Card, Red Seal, or equivalent provincial certification is required. Were looking for someone who takes initiative, can work independently and takes pride in doing the job right.
What were looking for
- 4th Year Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyperson
- Valid SATCC Sheet Metal Worker Year Card, Red Seal, or equivalent provincial certification
- Residential new construction experience preferred
- Experience installing residential ductwork
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable and takes pride in their work
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Valid Class 5 drivers license
- Reliable transportation is required for travel to residential jobsites throughout Saskatoon and surrounding communities
- Own basic hand tools and cordless drill/impact
The work
- Residential ductwork and sheet metal installation
- Measuring, cutting and installing ductwork
- Reading plans and layouts
- Furnace and HRV installation
- Working independently and with other crew members
- Keeping finished work clean, neat and properly installed

Starting at $30/hour, with wage based on experience and qualifications.
Full-time, MondayFriday, 8:004:30.
Local Saskatoon-area work.
Were open to flexibility for the right candidate when needed, including start date.
