Railway Track Maintenance Foreman

We are currently looking for 1 Foreman starting, as soon as possible.  The job would entail performing general Foreman duties in a outside environment.  Foreman would be responsible for various tasks and over see workers in a safe-oriented environment.  At times the Foreman would work in high rail way traffic areas. Would be required to wearing safety apparel.  The job would be around the Saskatoon Area.

Working Conditions

•   Work outdoors in varying weather and environment conditions.
•   Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds (22kg) and occasionally up to 85 pounds (39kg).
•   Exposure to heat, cold, water, snow, oil, grease, fumes and noise.

Employment Requirements

•   Valid drivers class 5 license with air endorsement and good drivers abstract.
•   Class 1A or G endorsement would be an asset but not a condition to employment.
•   Have at lease 1 year or equivalent in railway track maintenance would be a asset.
•   Clear a drug and alcohol assessment screening.
•   Good communication skills

•   Ability to determine the condition of objects/parts for wear and/or defects.
•   Over look track repairs and do track inspections.

• Be able to organize and keep thing neat and tidy
• Be able to plan work and do scheduling of work
