Project Manager (Winnipeg Project)

Westridge Construction is seeking a Project Manager to support a major commercial project in Winnipeg. We are looking for candidates with 5 to 10 years of industry experience who are ready to take on expanded project management responsibilities. Individuals with senior-level project support experience or direct project management experience are encouraged to apply.

This role will be based in Regina for the first year (remote support), then requires relocation to Winnipeg to work on site for the remainder of the project.

What Youll Do

• Assist in the planning and execution of a commercial construction project from pre-construction through completion
• Review contracts and project documentation to understand scope, risks, and requirements
• Support schedule management, budgeting, cost control, and reporting
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to maintain project progress
• Conduct and participate in site meetings and inspections once site work begins
• Identify project risks and support the implementation of mitigation strategies
• Act as a key point of contact for subcontractors and project stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on schedule, cost, and project status
• Review progress billings and subcontractor invoices

What You Bring

• Strong exposure to project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and subcontractor management
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects from pre-construction through delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment during the initial phase of the project

Future Location: Full-time on-site in Winnipeg
