The Saskatoon Housing Authority is seeking a qualified and committed professional to join our organization as a Programs Coordinator. The Programs Coordinator supports the development, implementation, facilitation, and evaluation of educational, recreational, social, and wellness programs that enhance the quality of life of Saskatoon Housing Authority (SHA) tenants. The primary focus of the position is the coordination and delivery of the Tenant Education Program (TEP),
Accountabilities
- Plan and deliver tenant education, wellness, and community programs.
- Promote tenant engagement, wellbeing, independence, and housing stability.
- Build partnerships and connect tenants with community supports and services.
- Support positive tenant relations through communication, mediation, and problem-solving.
- Manage program planning, budgets, grants, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Promote programs through outreach and community engagement activities.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, staff, and community partners.
- Ensure compliance with policies, legislation, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 with the successful completion of an accredited program in human services, social sciences, or social work.
- 3-5 years of relative experience.
- A clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check will be required at time of hire.
- Valid driver's license and use of a road worthy vehicle.
