Job Summary

Chief Payepot School is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and experienced educational leader to serve as Principal of our K-12 school. Chief Payepot School provides a comprehensive range of educational programs and services to approximately 250 students and employs a dedicated team of 18 teachers, along with support, administrative, and student services staff.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Education & Community Learning.  Working collaboratively with students, parents, staff, Elders, Chief and Council, and community partners, the Principal is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for the school. The successful candidate will foster a safe, inclusive, culturally responsive, and student-centered learning environment that supports academic excellence, personal growth, and the well-being of all students.

The Principal is responsible for protecting and promoting the interests, integrity, and success of students, families, and staff while ensuring the effective administration of educational programs, human resources, operations, finances, and school policies.
