Plumber/Hvac Service Technician

At Smith Plumbing we are a locally-owned and operated mechanical contractor with 45+ years of industry experience and a company history spanning more than 100 years. Due to continued demand, we are looking for a multi-skilled and independent Journeyman Plumber/ HVAC Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, pumps, and water distribution systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues independently
• Manage primarily solo service calls
• Provide professional, customer-focused service
• Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and organization

Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber certification preferred; 3rd or 4th year apprentices with strong experience will be considered
• Experience with heating systems, boilers/furnaces, gas systems, and service/repair work
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid drivers license
