Haid Roofing Ltd. is looking for experienced apprentice workers for positions in the sheet metal department. A red seal ticket is a definite asset. The job would entail roof related sheet metal fabrication and installation.
Duties would include
- Site Measuring, fabrication,installation of all roofing sheet metal
- Operating metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specifications.
- Fabricate custom scuppers, metal flashings and other items as needed.
- Read and interpret detail drawings and specifications.
- Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches, drills or other tools necessary.
- Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment
We are looking for someone who is
- Dependable and reliable
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- May have to deal with weight in excess of 45 kg.
- Outdoor work and subject to all weather conditions
- Must wear all necessary protective equipment
- Weekend work as needed and occasional travel required
