Picker Truck Operator

Right Choice Energy Services Inc. (RCESI) is seeking a Picker Truck Operator to join our team in Moose Jaw.

Reporting to the Shop and/or Site Supervisor(s), this position will support RCESIs fabrication and construction activities in shop and field environments.

Responsibilities include

Reporting fit for duty at the beginning of each shift

Completing daily equipment inspections, logbooks, and required maintenance

Operating equipment safely and in accordance with RCESI, client, and site requirements

Rigging materials for lifting and signaling lifting equipment

Loading, unloading, and properly securing equipment and materials

Coordinating activities with workers on active worksites

Assisting with structural and piping installations

Performing measuring, cutting, threading, assembling, installing, and testing of piping systems

Maintaining clean, organized, and safe tools, equipment, and work areas

Reporting equipment concerns to the Supervisor

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of picker truck operating experience

Demonstrated competency and confidence operating equipment safely

Experience with or willingness to learn civil, structural, and piping activities

Physically capable of lifting over 40 lbs and performing worksite mobility requirements

Safety conscious and committed to meeting all safety requirements

Valid drivers licence with clean abstract and 5G endorsement

Willingness to travel throughout Southern SK, Alberta, and Manitoba

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and shift work as required

Additional safety training is an asset.

Schedule: Flexibility to work varying hours, including overtime, weekends, and shifts as required.

Safety Sensitive Position: Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test. Audiometric and lung function testing will be scheduled upon hire as required.
