Job Description: Transplant Coordinators provide holistic patient care on in depth clinical knowledge and skills for specific transplant patient populations and the associated living donors. Coordinators facilitate the education and evaluation of recipients and live donors pre- and post-transplantation and are responsible for ongoing assessment, monitoring, education and intervention in the care of the transplanted patients. The coordinator provides education to health care providers and the general public regarding their specific area of transplantation. Transplant Coordinators collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary health team, the patient and their family towards the achievement of mutual goals and quality patient care.

Experience
- Experience in critical care is an asset
- Minimum 5 years recent acute nursing experience
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

- Advanced - Research skills
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
