About this role
The Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC) is seeking compassionate, energetic, and motivated individuals for casual Peer Support Worker positions at the Mistahey Musqua Treatment Centre (MMTC). Under the direction of the MMTC Manager, the Peer Support Worker is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of in-patient clients during the shifts, patrolling the facility, and providing basic client support. The philosophy of the MMTC is to promote a healthy, addiction-free lifestyle and to enhance the well-being of our First Nation communities through holistic (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) counselling services in prevention, treatment, and aftercare.
