Mental Health and Wellness Support Worker

Working with an inter-disciplinary team the Mental Health and Wellness Support Worker is responsible to provide emotional, spiritual, physical and mental supports to centre's clients through programming and case management. This position reports to the Cultural and Wellness Programs Manager.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to

• Plan and execute events and programs that enrich the mental health and wellness of centre clients.
• Provide addiction support and counselling as requested in conjunction with the harm reduction support team.
• Plan and execute programming pertaining to addiction and peer support.
• Plan and execute programming pertaining to general life skills and health families (such as parenting support, anger management, grief and loss programs).
• Provide emotional support services to centre clients.
• Maintain and report on program statistics and outcomes.
