About this role
We are looking for a MATERIAL HANDLER to join our team in Saskatoon, SK!
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Material Handler completes general labour duties in a manufacturing environment, including handling raw materials and finished goods, production support, equipment operation, housekeeping and quality inspections.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES ROTATING SHIFTS: 2 weeks of day shift - 8am to 8pm, 2 weeks of night shift - 8pm to 8am
Key Responsibilities
Operate plastic drain pipe production lines;
Remove, package and sort raw materials or finished products using manual or electrical equipment;
Weigh all manufactured products on the winder
Quickly identify quality problems during visual inspection of finished products;
Read and interpret work orders;
Complete production/quality reports
Assist with equipment repairs and adjustments
Maintain a clean, clear and safe work environment
Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing environment
High school diploma or equivalent.
