What You'll Do
You'll maintain Squire's property portfolio to ensure functionality and condition, working professionally while adhering to RTA policies, keeping accurate records, and providing maintenance recommendations to Property Managers.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Oversee plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs
- Complete unit turnovers for prospective tenants
- Provide proactive maintenance recommendations
- Perform minor landscaping and other assigned tasks
Record Keeping
- Maintain records using the online system
- Track timesheets and purchase orders
- Create and maintain a database with property insights
- Code and file receipts
Scheduling & Administration
- Coordinate with Property Managers/Operations Manager for resident, tenant, and guest entry approvals
- Assist with daily scheduling and provide time estimates for expense approvals
- Coordinate with approved vendors when required
- Proactively order supplies for site visits
- Maintain company equipment
What We're Looking For
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar or transferable role
- Safe, effective use of hand tools
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, kneeling, lifting 50+ lbs indoors/outdoors)
- Knowledge of drywall repair, painting, doors, windows, fixtures, and basic plumbing
- Calm under pressure with strong multitasking skills
- Comfortable learning new systems and asking questions
- Familiar with Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS, iCloud)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organization skills
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
