About the opportunity

NCCHD is currently seeking a Light Duty Trailer Technician for our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan location.

This position is part of our busy service and Installation shop and responsible for:

Completing PDI's for Trailers when they arrive

Moving and Organizing parts inventory

Performing other duties as required

Small paint touch ups on equipment

Installing cabinets in trailers

Running for parts when needed

Changing out axles on trailers

Changing breaks on trailers

Electrical work on trailers when required

Experience

Heavy Equipment Mechanics - Asset

Light Duty Trailer, RV Trailer, Gooseneck, tilt decks etc

Skills

Hydraulic and electrical experience and knowledge

Solid mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot problems and read schematics

Ability to maneuver in and around heavy equipment

Excellent communication skills and enjoy working as a part of a team

Ability to work Independently

Assets

Your own tools (We also have shop tools)

A class 5 drivers license

Know how to operate skid steer, telehandler and truck and trailer

License / Certification

Class 5 license with ability to haul a trailer

Endorsement - Asset

This position is part of our busy Service and Installation Shop and responsible for:

Performing maintenance, repairs and testing on our customers various types of equipment focusing on truck-mounted cranes and a variety of municipal and rail equipment
