Landscape Technician

Duties & Skills

• Experienced landscaper required for a growing tree and landscape service company
• Ability to perform general landscaping construction and maintenance duties
• Ability to run a small crew of 3 or 4 people
• Run and properly maintain horticultural equipment including skid steer, tractor, etc.
• Wide variety of jobs may include soft landscaping, irrigation, natural rock work, spraying, tree nursery work, tree pruning, spring yard clean-ups.
• In the winter the work primarily shifts to snow removal

Requirements

•   1-2 years of experience in the field
•   Driver's license and own transportation
•   Steel toe boots
•   Equipment maintenance skills
•   Hardworking and motivated
•   Dependable and reliable
•   First Aid training an asset
•   Pestcide Applicator an asset
•   Horticultural College preferred
•   LANTA CLT CNLA training preferred
