Job Duties

• Assist cooks with food preparation and general kitchen duties.
• Wash, peel, cut and prepare vegetables, fruits and other ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and other kitchen items.
• Unpack and store food supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and storage areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Remove garbage and keep garbage containers clean.
• Sweep and mop floors and perform general kitchen cleaning duties.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene and sanitation procedures.
