About this role
Suncrest College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Indigenous Studies & Culture and Diversity Instructor. This is a term position from September 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 (120 total contract hours), at our Yorkton campus. This instructor would be primarily responsible for the face-to-face delivery of INDG 100 (Introduction to Indigenous Studies) and CLTR 200 (Culture and Diversity) within a variety of post-secondary programs. Classes take place on weekdays between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. We offer some flexibility in our programming schedules and are committed to working with the right candidate to develop an arrangement that meets both their needs and those of the program.
Requirements
- The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Bachelors degree with a major in Indigenous Studies.
- The minimum amount of practical, related experience required to perform the duties of this position is two years (within the last five years) of recent/relevant business/industry experience or post-secondary teaching experience
- Must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic qualifications and receive necessary approval.
- Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
