You will

• Plan, direct, and ensure human resource needs align with business objectives.  Collaborate with the Management Team by providing ongoing communication, updates, and reports.
• Foster strong employee relations to build and maintain a positive, engaged and productive work environment.
• Assess, recommend and implement best-practice HR strategies and programs to create innovation and lead initiatives
• Recruit and facilitate the hiring of qualified applicants.  Prepare job offers and assist with related SINP and immigration-related forms and procedures.
• Develop, oversee and administer human resource programs. Recommend and implement company policies and procedures. Assist with constructive and timely performance evaluations.

As the selected candidate, you will bring

• A related Degree/Diploma in Human Resources is preferred.
• Experience with a private-sector employer experiencing growth and new HR challenges/opportunities is a strong asset.
• Highly motivated, professional, and positive with a collaborative, approachable, and service-oriented leadership style.
• Hands-on HR generalist who takes ownership, is solutions-oriented and committed to adding value to the organizations culture.  Skilled in influencing, negotiation, problem solving, and building consensus.
