Handitt is Saskatchewan's local odd-jobs app. Customers in Regina post furniture assembly jobs every week, and you choose the ones that fit your schedule. Most jobs take 1 to 3 hours.
What you'll do
- Assemble flat-pack furniture from IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, Costco and Structube
- Office furniture assembly: desks, chairs, filing and shelving
- Outdoor furniture and fitness equipment assembly
- Take apart and reassemble furniture for moves
- Anchor tall units to the wall and leave the space tidy
What you need
- Basic tool kit: drill, Allen keys, screwdrivers, level, stud finder
- Patience with instructions and an eye for square, tight builds
- A vehicle to get to jobs across the city
- 18+ and able to pass identity verification
Pay and schedule
- Casual, flexible work: accept only the jobs you want, no minimum hours
- Independent contractor (self-employed): you set your own hourly rate and see your exact payout before you accept a job
- Paid weekly through Stripe; no sign-up fee
