About this role
Sky High Excavation, the local water and sewer specialist, is currently looking for a dedicated Water/Sewer Labourer. Salary will be $20 -$25 per hour, depending on experience. This position will be all-year round for the right candidate. On-site training will be provided. This position has flexible hours, some overtime is required. This position works outdoors in both residential and commercial environments. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.

The following are some of the duties
Assist with water/sewer hook-ups and laying of pipe
Jackhammering of concrete
Hauling of concrete/heavy materials
Load/unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
Site cleanup/shovel/sweep
Assist in interior demolition
Assist with excavation work
Perform other activities at work sites, as directed
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in similar position
Valid Class 5 Drivers' License
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Strong communication skills in English
Mechanically inclined
Reliable and dependable
Must be able to work independently and within a team
Preference given to those with air brake endorsement
