Kitchen Helper / Food Preparation Team Member

Permanent Full-Time (3040 Hours/Week)

Job Duties

• Prepare food ingredients.
• Assist with cooking and food preparation.
• Assemble and package customer orders.
• Follow recipes and portion standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitor food quality and temperatures.
• Label, rotate, and store food (FIFO).
• Receive and restock supplies.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and equipment.
• Complete opening and closing duties.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support the team during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Certificate required.
• Kitchen experience preferred.
• Japanese restaurant experience is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Training provided.

Requirements

• Permanent full-time (30-40 hours/week).
• Open availability is required.
• Applicants must be available to work scheduled shifts between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Able to commit to a consistent work schedule.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Long-term employment is preferred.
