Direct Support Professional

Chip and Dale Homes Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization providing residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities.  Chip and Dale Homes currently has a Permanent Full Time Domestic/Direct Support position available providing support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.  Hours of work are yet to be determined and will be discussed at time of interview.  This position is Monday - Friday.

Duties include:  Personal care, cooking and housekeeping, shopping, general maintenance of the home, maintaining a shopping and housekeeping budget for the home.

The applicant must have experience in the domestic field (knowledge and skill in food preparation, special diets, and food allergies) be motivated, organized, flexible, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be collaborative and empathetic.  Applicants must have a Class 5 driver's license as driving is part of the position.  A certificate in Safe Food Handling and experience working with individuals experiencing disability.
