Emergency On-Call Support Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Emergency On-Call Support Worker to provide support to participants experiencing urgent situations related to addiction, recovery, mental health, or medical needs.
This is a flexible part-time/casual on-call position that may include days, evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
Applicants living in Fort QuAppelle or surrounding areas are preferred, but Regina applicants will also be considered.
Responsibilities
Respond to urgent participant support calls during scheduled on-call availability.
Transport participants to hospitals, detox, treatment, medical services, or other appropriate supports.
Provide calm, respectful, and non-judgmental support during stressful situations.
Assist with de-escalation and contact emergency or crisis services when required.
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Communicate important information to staff and complete required documentation.
Qualifications
Experience in addictions, mental health, social services, healthcare, or community support is an asset.
Comfortable supporting individuals experiencing substance use, withdrawal, emotional distress, or other urgent concerns.
Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Dependable, flexible, compassionate, and able to work independently.
