Pebbles to Rocks Childcare Centre is looking for a caring, patient, and dedicated Education Assistant to provide oneonone support for a child with additional needs in our program.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive, enjoys working closely with educators, and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
What Youll Do
Support one child in daily routines, transitions, and activities
Assist the child in participating in classroom programs and playbased learning
Help implement strategies provided by educators and support professionals
Foster independence, confidence, and positive social interactions
Maintain a warm, respectful, and childcentered approach at all times
In addition to those duties outlined , duties may include supporting students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs, possibly heavy lifting.
What Were Looking For
Experience working with children (formal or informal)
A calm, patient, and supportive personality
Ability to follow routines and work collaboratively with educators
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
ECE Level 1 is an asset, but not required - we welcome applicants who are willing to obtain their education
First Aid/CPR
Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector check.
