professionals as the Director, Agriculture Water Management.
This position provides province-wide operational leadership for the Agricultural Water Management Branchs drainage approval and compliance functions. You will lead managers and support staff in delivering a consistent, timely, service-focused and risk-informed regulatory program that advances responsible drainage, watershed resilience, compliance, and agency and government priorities.
You will represent the Water Security Agency in key forums and work with stakeholders and clients to navigate complex water management challenges. You will build relationships and provide operational feedback to improve policy, procedures, training, service delivery and programs.
This is an opportunity to shape agricultural water management in Saskatchewan by leading a province-wide regulatory program and improving service delivery, compliance and watershed resilience.
The ideal candidate is client-focused, collaborative and innovative, and an exceptional communicator with strong communication, leadership, problem solving and, relationship-building skills.
The candidate will have a degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Policy, Natural Resources Management, Regional Planning or related discipline and 10 or more years of progressively more responsible leadership experience.

Compensation Details
$120,048 to $150,048 (MC9)
