Direct Support Worker

We are currently seeking a caring, compassionate, person centred  and enthusiastic individual to join our team! We are hiring for a Direct Support Worker in our Langenburg Group Home.

The role may include but is not limited to

• Implements person centred plans
• Provides personal and physical supports and care to participants as necessary (i.e. feeding, dressing, bathing etc.)
• Acts as a positive role model
• Understands and follows both positive and behavioural programming
• Stores, administers, and documents use of medications
• Provides overall life enrichment to individuals through both positive programming, community outings etc.
• Cooks, cleans and reports  maintenance concerns as necessary
• Other duties as assigned
