Direct Support Professional

Mackenzie Society Ventures Inc. is seeking applications for Direct Support Professionals in the communities of Preeceville, Sturgis and Canora.

• Are you an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys people?  Do you work well independently and as a team member?   Training may be available for the right candidate, although previous experience and education are preferred.

Duties and responsibilities include

• Provide support to adults with varying abilities in a home and day program environment.
• Have a valid Saskatchewan driver's license
• Able to work shift work including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Able to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment.
• Experience working with adults experiencing disabilities is an asset.
• Comfortable providing physical and personal support to individuals.
• Deals with participant situations as they arise, i.e. harmful or dangerous

behaviours.

• Ability to attend staff meetings, program, training, and other meetings as required and/or

requested
